5 Tricks to make your perfume last longer

Tip 1: Spritz, Do not Mist

Do you know how some people spray a bunch of perfume into the air and then walk through it? Yeah, don’t do that—you’re just wasting product and the scent will evaporate after a short amount of time. A direct spritz on to bare skin is all you need to keep the perfume scent on you for longer.

Tip 2: Rub Vaseline on first

Rub Vaseline on your pulse points before spraying your perfume to make the scent last longer. The ointment holds the fragrance to your skin longer than if you were to spray it onto dry skin.

Tip 3: Spray your perfume right after taking a shower

The moisture on your skin will help lock in the scent. This will also prevent the perfume from staining super delicate clothes.

Tip 4: Do not rub your wrists together

Don’t dab the perfume on your wrists after spraying. If you rub your wrists together, you’ll force the scent to disappear faster than intended—aka your perfume won’t last as long.

Tip 5: Important Information Regarding Perfume Use

To ensure the longevity and quality of your garments, we strongly advise against applying perfume directly to clothing. Certain perfume formulations may leave stains or discolorations on fabrics.  Our perfumes are designed for external use only and should ideally be applied to the skin from a distance of approximately 25cm (10 inches).  This application method helps to prevent potential staining and allows the fragrance to develop properly.

I love Lancome Idole, and this is the best dupe I’ve found. I used up the entire bottle, and now I save my original for special occasions. Fragrance and Glamour seems to last longer on my skin. Highly recommended!

Bought a bottle of this from the shop at the weekend and it snells amazing and lasts all day. Seems to smell even nicer after a few hours. Would definitely recommend this shop. The man in the shop (sorry not sure if its the owner) was so knowledgeable and friendly. Got my xmas gifts picked out from here.

Presently Fragrance and Glamour ONLY ship to the UK – any orders placed outside England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Island will be subject to a refund charge.

We ship all orders through:

  • Royal Mail standard – Amazon Shipping 2-4 working days (orders over £45)
  • Royal Mail tracked 48 – Amazon Shipping service
  • 48 service DPD.

Royal Mail express shipping Amazon Shipping and DPD will keep you up to date via email.

All orders placed after 13:00 pm Monday – Friday will be dispatched the next working day.

Due to the nature of our product and current postal restrictions your order may have to be split into two or more parcels.
